Sounds Familiar is a local, friendly community choir of about 50 mixed
voices for all ages, ranging from the young to the young at heart. What we
have in common is a love of music and singing for fun. Our repertoire
is very varied ranging from show stoppers and popular music to sacred
and classical pieces.

Our aim is to provide an inclusive, welcoming environment which offers
people of all ages and abilities the chance to learn, rehearse, perform
and enjoy a range of musical styles. With no auditions, whilst you don’t
need to be able to read music, you do need to be able to ‘hold a tune’
and show commitment.

We perform regularly at various charity fundraising concerts & events
as well as at the biennial ‘Voices for Hospices’.
